Technical Buyer A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Buyer to join an excellent manufacturer in the Bristol area. With no day ever being the same the Technical Buyer role offers genuine long: term progression and career development within a first: class manufacturing environment. Role and Responsibilities: Work as part of the purchasing team to: Ensure the purchase of cost: effective materials and on time delivery. Supplier management. Build relationships with current and new suppliers. Conduct scoping and approvals, risk backssments and performance evaluations. Work closely with the R and D team and engineers, providing support for product development. Develop effective procedures across the purchasing department in line with ISO9001. Work closely with the quality team to resolve non: conformance Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Previous purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment (Electronics advantageous) Ideally CIPS and Degree qualified Experience working with R and D and engineers : preferable MRP System experience Package and Benefits: Up to GBP40,000 DOE 25 days holiday + BH, Annual Bonus, Life Insurance, Health Care Cash Plan and More Exceptional long term career progression opportunities How : Suitable candidates for the Technical Buyer role should apply immediately using the button by calling Ella Evans on or by sending your CV directly to.
