Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Are you an experienced commercial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Would you like to work for a well: renowned company which offers upskilling and training? Randstad Construction and Property are working on behalf of a national Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative mechanical maintenance engineer to join their Edinburgh team. Location: Edinburgh Salary: Competitive (up to GBP38,000 depending on experience) Employment Type: Full: time, permanent, static Key benefits: Van and fuel card Annual leave and bank holidays Overtime hours available Generous pension scheme Training and development courses Death in service benefit An average day will include the following: Carrying out Planned Maintenance as required on HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical and Life Safety Systems Completing reactive works within a set time frame Some Building Fabric Maintenance if required Monitoring and responding to site BMS systems Identifying and sourcing materials Providing support to the on: site technical supervisor Maintaining site logbooks and ensuring regular reporting Attending internal meetings An ideal candidate will have: A full UK driving licence Formal Apprenticeship and formal trade qualifications in a technical field (Mechanical preferred) Experience of large: scale mechanical and electrical plant At least 3 years post Apprenticeship experience An ideal candidate will be: A team player Flexible and patient Able to understand complex information and demonstrate attention to detail Able to remain calm and professional, communicating strongly Someone with a can: do attitude If this sounds like you then please get in touch by contacting Imogen Thompson at Randstad C and P Newcastle Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
