Senior EA and Quantity Surveyor Radford Office, Plymouth : covering the South West GBP 54,536 : GBP 57,406 per year plus Company car or car allowance 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Senior EA and Quantity Surveyor to join our Employer's Agent team, which sits within the wider Development Construction department. The team is responsible for Cost Planning, tendering construction projects, negotiating contract terms with contractors, compiling contract documents and administering on site construction contracts for the Group's ongoing Development programme. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional, with demonstrable experience in the construction industry. The role of Senior EA and Quantity Surveyor will include: : Manage the contract administration of Design and Build construction projects: Chairing progress meetings and carrying out interim valuations: Manage and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that staff and suppliers are aware of, and comply with, their obligations: Issuing contract instructions and backssing contractual claims: Manage information flow and liaising with internal partner departments: Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for development activities to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, compliant and environmentally sustainable new homes and communities Skills and experiences: : A relevant BSc degree qualification and ideally a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), or working towards Chartership: Experience working within a professional consultancy or a similar organisation to Sanctuary, as a Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent and/or Quantity Surveyor: Experience in the construction of a variety of building types, with particular experience in residential properties,.
