Job Title: Operations Administrator Location: Marchwood, Southampton Salary: £23k - £25k Job type: This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm (42.5 hours per week) and is based in our offices in Southampton. King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business with our head office based in Bristol. We provide lifting services incorporating the use of mobile cranes, heavy haulage and plant/machinery movement from a number of locations throughout the UK and Europe working in numerous sectors such as Construction, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Petrochemical and are one of the largest lifting services providers in the UK. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry. Job Description: We are actively seeking an experienced Administrator to join our busy general crane hire desk based in Marchwood, Southampton. Duties will include: Managing the arrangement of resources required for each order. Using IT systems/software to complete administrative processes in a timely manner including raising contracts, job sheets, operator tickets, timesheets. Organise site visits. Dealing with daily sales enquiries to new and existing customers. Chasing debtors and overdue payments. Dealing with local authorities and traffic management companies managing road closures and permits. Essential: You must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Marchwood, Southampton. You must have a minimum of 2 years' proven administration experience. You should have a good standard of education. You must have a positive and 'can-do' attitude with high attention to detail and excellent communication and organisation skills. You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook. Desirable: Working administration experience on a Hire Desk or within the construction, crane or plant industry.
