You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is the largest independent hospital in Kent. A state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic and operating environments and innovative technology support a wide range of specialist services enabling us to provide prompt, safe quality care for our patients To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin or qualified as an ODP and registered with HCPC As the Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner your key responsibilities include: Working as the lead member of the scrub team you will ensure a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit To provide clinical leadership to junior staff, deputising for the deputy theatre manager when necessary Communicating effectively with other departments e. g. Sterile Services, Wards, and Imaging department to ensure efficient patient care Preparing operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery as required. To include equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, ensuring appropriate use of resources and minimal waste Ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out Assessing patient care requirements, implementing care and evaluating outcomes The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Post registration clinical experience as a Recovery practitioner in an acute hospital NHS or Private Be proficient in providing assistance during a wide range of general surgical lists Have experience in.
