A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Theatre Practitioner - Scrub or Anaesthetics to work in an exceptional private hospital in Kent. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is the largest independent hospital in Kent. A state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic and operating environments and innovative technology support a wide range of specialist services enabling us to provide prompt, safe quality care for our patients To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin or qualified as an ODP and registered with HCPC As a Theatre Practitioner your key responsibilities include: Work primarily as an anaesthetic and scrub practitioner, occasionally being required to work as a recovery practitioner Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff. Implement patient care and evaluate outcomes Communicate effectively with other departments e. g. Sterile Services, Wards, Imaging Department to ensure effective and smooth-running patient care Ensure that patients’ comfort, dignity and privacy are maintained at all times Ensure that your own practice and the practice of others is within an ethical and legal framework The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Have post-registration clinical experience as a scrub and/or Anaesthetic theatre practitioner in an acute hospital NHS or independent Have knowledge of clinical governance and its application Have practical experience of change management Have evidence of continuous professional development and its application The successful Theatre Practitioner will receive.
