Service Manager : Safeguarding : Up to GBP72,430 Nonstop care is currently working with a well established local authority in the Berkshire area (Just outside West London) who are looking for a Service Manager to join their Safeguarding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an authority which offers home working flexibility and freedom to manage your own workload, giving you a better work/life balance. Responsibilities: You will be leading the day to day operational business of the teams in the service area promoting the best interests of children in accordance with the statutory framework. You will support the Head of Service Family Help and Safeguarding through direct line managing and developing: The four Together for Families teams The supporting Families Service; inclusive of the contact service and the CSC Family Support workers The utilisation of the Consultant Practitioner for Substance Use roles across the wider Together for Families service Benefits: Competitive pay Home working flexibility Career Progression Immediate start Requirements: This role requires a Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle The role requires a recognised social work qualification and relevant post: qualification experience and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum post qualifying Managerial experience, ideally within Safeguarding teams.
