Are you a Quantity Surveyor who comes from a main contracting background? Have you got experience in the retail and leisure sector? If so, then this is the job for you Due to company success, their turnover has doubled year on year and with this trend only set to continue they are looking to hire either a Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Quantity Surveyor who is ready for the next step in their professional career. The Company: The company is a modular contractor that specialise in design and build, new build and refurbishment projects up to GBP10m in value. Working primarily in the retail and leisure sectors on new builds and extensions. You will be required to travel to sites, and will visit each site weekly, splitting the rest of the week between office and working from home, so they adopt a very flexible working week for the successful candidate. For this role you will need: Requirements: To have a sound knowledge and be experienced in payment terms, payment notices, contract protocol and matters associated with delays and extensions of time. To be skilled in subcontract procurement and understand the importance of this process. To be able to deliver CVRs on a monthly basis to the board and be responsible for all aspects of commercial reporting and procedures. To have a very strong teamwork ethos. To have had experience in working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor as well as a SME. To be able to deal with 3 or 4 live projects at any given time. Experienced within the retail and leisure sectors. Experienced on a mixture of new build, design and build and refurbishment projects. Whats on offer? An attractive salary and package. You will be based on the lovely South Coast.
