Job Opportunity: Technical Inspector Location: Economy : Direct Delivery Pay Rate: GBP 195 per day Duration: 11 weeks Role Overview As a Technical Inspector within our dynamic team of project managers, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and capital projects for LBHF housing, encompassing both residential and non: residential properties. Your primary mission is to collaborate with project managers and contribute to the flawless delivery of council: designed PPM projects. This entails verifying that on: site operations and construction activities align with contractual obligations, council standards, and prevailing legislation. Your meticulous attention to detail will guarantee that projects are completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement and Satisfaction Engage with residents and customers, addressing their concerns and expectations regarding current and future planned works. Ensure that the contractors resident liaison function is responsive to customer needs during the preparation and execution of maintenance projects. Project Coordination Collaborate with project management to facilitate the successful implementation of PPM and Capital Works programs. Your objective is to meet tight deadlines while minimizing disruptions to residents. Keep a comprehensive record, monitor progress, and provide regular reports to the Project Manager. Stakeholder Alignment Work closely with relevant service departments and stakeholders to ensure that the works programs do not disrupt day: to: day services for residents. Your coordination skills will be essential in achieving this delicate balance. Performance Management and Budget Oversight Continuously monitor and report on contractor performance to the Project Manager.
