Join their team as a Quantity Surveyor on the renowned Light Rail Project, where your role will be pivotal in managing project costs, particularly in the domain of heavy civils and concrete structures. Your skills will contribute to accurate cost estimation, efficient cost control, and the overall financial management of the project. Collaborating closely with project stakeholders, you will provide essential cost advice to facilitate project success. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civils and concrete structures within the light rail project. Monitor project budgets, analyze costs, and provide accurate cost forecasts to inform decision: making. Collaborate with various project team members to handle contract variations, claims, and change orders. Support junior members of the Quantity Surveying team through mentoring and guidance. Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost: effective solutions while upholding quality standards. Identify potential cost: related risks and propose effective strategies for mitigation. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quantity surveying best practices.
