As a key member of their team, you will contribute to the growth and success of their department by leveraging your expertise and leadership skills. Key responsibilities Provide strategic oversight and motivation to the payroll team throughout the firm, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. Evaluate the workloads of fellow Payroll team members prior to granting sign: off Independently manage your own payroll deadlines, ensuring timely and precise processing. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated matters within the department, addressing and resolving issues effectively. Review, monitor, and drive the implementation of new processes to enhance departmental efficiency. Ensure service levels are consistently met while nurturing strong relationships and maintaining accurate payroll operations. Uphold meticulous adherence to payroll compliance, including legal regulations and company policies. Possess specialized knowledge and substantial experience in managing all aspects of a payroll function. Experience and skills Demonstrate a proficient working knowledge of efficiently managing a high: volume payroll process. Possess a significant background in payroll management and supervision specifically within a practice environment. Ideal candidate will hold a CIPP Qualification. Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and management, facilitating clear communication within a practice context.
