Accounts Administrator Salary DOE Full time and Part time available Permanent Our Client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, is searching for an Accounts Administrator to join their welcoming and thriving team. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, have a great work ethic and have good attention to detail. Previous experience within an accounts based position is essential, as is a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location of the role. Main duties and responsibilities, (including but not limited to): Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third: party vendors Process bank deposits Take card payments Reconcile financial statements Prepare, send, and store invoices Credit control : contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments Identify and address discrepancies Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets Liaising with other departments and depots Providing support for purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control. Collate receipts from cardholders Maintaining monthly records for rebates Preparing accruals on a monthly basis for external accountant Payroll records : keeping to deadlines Assisting with month end procedures and setting up trade accounts Key skills and attributes: Good organisational skills Good/confident telephone manner Computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel Good communications skills, both oral and written Confident and polite Ability to multi: task and prioritise workload Accuracy GSCE in Maths and English C or above (or equivalent) Benefits: Free onsite parking Life Assurance Cycle to Work Employee Assistance Programme Company pension x2026; And others If you are interested in this role then please apply now with your current CV.
