Southbridge Care Homes are currently looking to add a talented Financial Analyst to our amazing family of corporate finance team at our head office in Cambridge, ON. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the Senior Development Accountant. The FA role is a highly visible position that provides the foundation in all aspects of finance and accounting while also having exposure to operations and property redevelopment. The FA will be involved at various depths with financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance. Southbridge Care Homes (Southbridge) offers acquisition, management and redevelopment services to long-term care homes and retirement communities in Ontario. Southbridge’s mission is to operate a best-in-class portfolio of care homes and retirement communities that consistently deliver excellence in care and services in an economically sustainable manner. You will be accountable for… Preparing consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis and actively participate and lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, including coordination with auditors and our external property management company. Maintaining controls over accounting processes, while completing various corporate level journal entries, processing invoices, and payroll. Compile, analyze and report on operating metrics.
