Website: www. daysinnpenticton. ca Job description: Salary: $31.00 per hour Job Type: Full time, permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Language: English Work Location: 152 Riverside Dr, Penticton, BC V2A 5Y4 Job duties: - Manage the activities and operations of the guest service department; - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and review all the workplace offerings, guest registration and space management usage. - Track reviews and manage a hotel’s online presence; - Schedule regular meetings and conduct performance evaluations; - Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations within Days Inn Penticton; - Manage budgets and expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor profits; - Ensures the highest standards of guest relations, satisfaction, and contact; - Build and maintain strong relationships with visitors and clients, and handle customer complaints and queries; - Support service personnel with questions posed by guests and taking over from the support staff if any issues arise; - Build up a positive work environment to keep high motivational levels; - Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service; - Create reports as needed for General Manager; - Manage and mentor staff, including recruiting, hiring, and training all employees of the guest service department.
