As a member of the housekeeping team, you will play an integral role in helping our hotel provide a superior level of service to our guests. Job Description and Responsibilities: Clean guestrooms––Sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors Make beds, change sheets, clean bathrooms and inside windows Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Replenish rooms with supplies––distribute clean towels and toiletries Clean changing rooms and showers Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies Proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment Remove soiled linen from rooms, and retrieve clean linen from linen closets Stock linen closets and other supplies areas Handle and report lost and found items Address customers' complaints or concerns Provide basic information on facilities, and report necessary maintenance items Follow departmental policies and procedures Employment Qualifications and Requirements: Previous experience in hotel environment is an asset Must physically be able to: lift up to 50lbs, carry objects weighing up to 75lbs (including pushing equipment), stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk,.
