With an unmatched product portfolio, we offer innovative and high-quality solutions, providing design, manufacturing, and after-service. Role Overview: The Buyer is responsible for the purchase of goods, materials, and services to ensure the company's operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure supply continuity. The role includes purchasing goods and managing UK suppliers for Business Unit (BU) Tooling, Service, and GSE. The role involves liaising with internal UK Business units and the HYDRO KG purchasing team. Accountabilities: Building relationships with key suppliers Conducting supply market analysis Managing vendors and contracts Risk management Commodity management Achieving the best cost savings while maintaining a beneficial supply base for the company Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Managing Supplier RFQ (Request for Quotation) process for HYDRO UK Business requirements and allocated UK Supply Chain. Issuing and tracking RFQs in collaboration with the relevant business unit to record supplier cost and lead times. Reviewing quotes for completeness and competitiveness (cost and lead time). Addressing supplier queries related to RFQs/orders/change controls in collaboration with the business unit. Processing demand into purchase requisitions. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
