Maintenance Manager : Mechanically Biase Permanent Blackburn A GBP 40,000 Working Hours: Monday : Friday 8.30am : 5pm Our reputable distributor is currently looking for a maintenance manager to be responsible of leading the Site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi: skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned scheduled maintenance and ensuring the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Main Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager Develop maintenance procedures and ensure communication and implementation of daily, weekly, monthly operator checks underpinned with safe operating procedures. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve any issues Check electrical and pneumatic systems of buildings to ensure functionality Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities Monitor and maintain an appropriate inventory of consumables for machine servicing and general repairs, sourcing and raising POs where necessary Implement training and education to enhance employee development and continue job performance improvement Comply with and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance Manage relationships with contractors and service providers Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities Experience and Skills required Proven experience as Maintenance Manager or other managerial roles. Experience in Laser / Waterjets (training will be given) Is familiar in working with KPIs. Ability exceptional time management. Strong ability to analyse, resolve and implement solutions through sound problem solving techniques. Ability to analyse and present data. Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management and hourly employees. Strong organisational skills. Demonstrates leadership.
