Production Supervisor : Thorpe, Surrey : Up to GBP38,000/year There is now an exciting new opportunity to join my client as a Production Supervisor, working for a market leader in refrigeration controls. In this role, you will be responsible for the supervision of the in: house team as well as undertaking the assembly and test of electro: mechanical detection systems and controls equipment. Key responsibilities: Liaison and quality management of third party operatives assembling Infrared based refrigerant leak detection systems. Undertake/supervise the assembly and modification of electrical panels to meet contract / customer and engineer requirements. Supervise and undertake test/inspection of new products. Monitor, maintain and develop quality assurance system. Occasional visits to customer premises to undertake installation, fault finding, service and maintenance of gas leak detection systems and monitoring / control systems. Requirements: Technical background or experience in a similar field (electro: mechanical engineering). Testing and inspection experience. Previous experience in a supervisory / team leader role would be advantageous. Knowledge of gas leak detection systems / control systems. Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
