Production Manager (Factory Manager : Manufacturing) A GBP 50,000 to A GBP 70,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension Bristol Production / Factory Manager required for a new factory started by a rapidly growing start: up arm of an established hi tech company. This newly created role will give you the chance to build your own team of around 20 Operatives. This challenging and varied position will involve many aspects and will be fast paced. You will be given full responsibility for all aspects of Production Management in this data driven business that will be very improvements led. This is an exciting chance to really put your stamp on a position and positively impact a business. You can implement your ideas in a growing business that is embarking on a huge investment programme. You will begin the role as the multi: million pound production machinery is installed into the new site by taking the lead to recruit Operatives and then begin production. You will set KPIs, implement all systems and continuously collect data to ensure manufacturing is as lean as possible. You will really be able to see the results of your hard work in this role. Your work will directly contribute towards the future success and structured growth of the business. The Production / Factory Manager role: Taking full responsibility for overseeing the production processes Planning and organising production schedules including backssing project and resource requirements Estimating and operating to budgets and timescales with technical operating engineers and direct reports Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met Ensuring product performance and quality control standards are met Re: negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment with maintenance Organising relevant training sessions Maintain close links with general management and finance roles.
