The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2024 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement. Position Overview Under the direction of the O. R. Manager of Patient Care, the incumbent is responsible for: promotion and compliance with the HSC mission, objectives, goals, policies and procedures for perioperative nursing; providing a continuity of care throughout the perioperative period, using scientific and behavioral practices with the eventual goal of meeting the individual needs of the patient undergoing surgical intervention. (Expected practice behaviours include backssment, planning, implementation of perioperative nursing interventions and evaluation. )In addition, the incumbent participates in continuing education activities directed towards personal and professional growth and development; participates in research activities that support and enhance perioperative nursing practice and in departmental Quality Assurance and Improvement activities. Experience C urrent related perioperative nursing experience/training required or successful completion of an accredited program in Operating Room Nursing.
