PRODUCTION MANAGER HERTFORDSHIRE Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance An exciting clinical: stage biomedical company are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join their Production team based in the Hertfordshire area. The role will involve working Sunday : Wednesday every week, the shifts will then rotate every 2 weeks between 6am to 3:45pm / 12:15pm to 10pm. Reporting to the Director, Cell Manufacturing the role will be responsible for managing and developing a high performing and dynamic team, in a fast paced environment. You will lead and motivate a diverse team of up to 20 staff, ensuring performance management and development of all team members are in line with a clear plan. You will also be responsible for the operation implementation of lean manufacturing improvements, as well as collaboration with Quality, MSAT, Engineering, Validation, Training, OPEX, and Supply Chain. Key responsibilities include: Achieving the targets and objectives for the area, through the use of Operational Excellence tools Guaranteeing the fundamentals of safety, quality and compliance are understood by the team Managing the people and company resources Leading problem solving and performance management Input into supply chain planning process To be considered for the role candidates must have strong management / team leadership experience within a medical or biotechnology environment. Experience working within the cell and gene therapy industry or a sterile / cleanroom environment would be preferred.
