West Susinteraction County Council is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join their Children’s MASH Team. This is a Locum Social Work role. As Team Manager you will lead, motivate, nurture, and manage a team to deliver a children’s social care service on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the service provided is effective and delivering the required outcomes, as well as ensuring cases are dealt with in a timely manner. You will ensure that children and young people are adequately protected in line with our policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Benefits for you as a MASH Practice Manager: Competitive Pay Rate: Up to £47.50p/h WFH and office based working available Easily accessible via car or public transport Your responsibilities as a MASH Practice Manager: Delivery of an effective, customer focused service to meet defined performance indicators and business strategies. Responsible for managing a team including the performance management and professional development of those staff. This will include establishing regular individual and group supervision arrangements, mentoring, setting and monitoring targets and objectives and balancing this with the development of skills and ongoing training. Enable and challenge others to develop their knowledge base and make knowledge informed judgments, including improved independent decision-making regarding risk. Model and use critical reflective skills in management, practice or organisational supervision settings to enhance practice. Model and help others to maintain professional/personal boundaries and the skilled use of self in more complex situations. Including supporting an environment that promotes learning and practice development within the workplace. Requirements of you as a MASH Practice Manager: A recognised Social Work qualification.
