What you can expect from the opportunity: Prepare period-end closing entries: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll, SR&ED Intercompany recurring entries Manage month-end reconciliations of all bank and investment accounts and payment processor statements Oversee operator/partner reporting, invoice generation and reconciliations of transactions between the sales database and Netsuite Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations Record monthly referral sales, ancillary revenues and fees and chargebacks Prepare and maintain supporting documentation and journal entries for all Busbud subsidiary companies Monitor daily cash levels and forecast weekly requirements Supervise AP processing and payments and perform monthly reconciliations Manage Payroll and Onboarding Process the payroll for Canadian and non-Canadian employees Monitor and share employee benefits claim updates with the P&C team Review expense claims in Expensify and/or Remote Perform the ongoing maintenance and improvements of our accounting system Support onboarding of new partners by review of contracts and correctly set up our system Preparation of monthly financial statements and other ad hoc reports Assist in year-end audit and tax filing requirements Assist in ad hoc finance team projects How can you impress us? Highly Proficient in Netsuite (Administrator / Super User level) Experience in a fast-paced environment like start-up CPA designation (or international equivalent) is an asset or pursuing it Minimum of 4 years of experience in.
