Your Job Dark Vision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will bring prior experience working on high-tech electromechanical projects in a fast-paced environment. Our Team The successful candidate will join our high-performing team of Engineers and Technologist working on our industry-leading imaging technologies. Demand for Dark Vision's products and services has grown significantly, and your efforts will help ensure we scale our manufacturing and implement best-in-class processes to help meet this demand. What You Will Do Using LEAN principles analyze and propose solutions to remove inefficiencies in the manufacturing processes. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, and researching, designing, modifying, and testing suitable manufacturing methods and equipment. Work with cross functional teams on NPI and production transfer activities including work instructions, BOM creation, and manufacturing training. Manage non-conformance reports and drive root cause analysis. Provide manufacturing support, including material review board, manufacturing process improvement, component EOL support, production escalation, etc. acts as the liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering to escalate issues. Perform time studies and cycle-time analysis; assist in development and management of manufacturing flow models. Develop detailed cycle time and process flow models for our current manufacturing processes, develop strategies for removing bottlenecks. Create workflow, space requirements, and equipment layouts. Assist with purchasing and logistics activities when needed and suggest necessary improvements for continuous improvement of purchasing and logistics. Create product and process KPIs by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Post secondary education in Mechanical, Electrical,.
