Major Duties Sourcing and purchasing of a variety of commodities in accordance with the Principles of Buying to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Specific Responsibilities Expedite Sub-Contracted components to ensure timely delivery to meet production schedule. Track, monitor, and maintain Purchase Order deliveries and liaise with Buyers / Project Procurement Leads to maintain schedule. Processes Purchasing documentation for outside processes (ex. Requisitions, Purchase Orders, reports) in accordance with ATS Policy and Procedures. Co-ordinates transportation of product to and from outside processors, and between ATS facilities. Communicates with and evaluates vendors to ascertain their ability to meet company requirements, goals, and objectives. Negotiates prices, credit terms, discounts, and delivery arrangements with suppliers. Reconciling invoices issues – pricing, quantity, and receipts Keeps informed of new sources of supply for materials and services.
