• Employer: Care & Fun Childcare Limited • Company Profile: Care & Fun Childcare Limited is a licensed centre where your children can play, study, and enjoy many activities while they are learning important social skills and passionate Professionals in early childhood education who provide an age-appropriate and Educational Emergent curriculum for your children. • Job details Title: Early Childhood Educator NOC: 42202 Wage: $19.10 ~ $21.67 per hour Work Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week Vacation: remuneration - 4% of gross salary Benefits: Extended Medical Insurance (We provide it at 60% cost to the foreign worker until such time as the worker is eligible for applicable provincial health insurance, but the foreign worker will be eligible after 3 months of employment with us. ) Terms of employment: Full-Time/Permanent Vacancies: 2 Start date: As soon as possible • Work Location: 290 Main Avenue, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3M 3V3 • Job Duties - Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children; - Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest; - Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity; - Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits; - Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children; - backss the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members; - Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children; - Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties; - Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records; - Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children; -.
