Job Title: Quantity Surveyor : Highways and Infrastructure Projects Key Responsibilities: As a Quantity Surveyor for our highways and infrastructure projects, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of costs and resources. Your attention to detail and financial acumen will contribute directly to the success of our endeavors, ensuring theyre completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will encompass: Managing all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost estimation, procurement, and budget tracking. Collaborating with project teams to backss costs, risks, and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies. Reviewing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements to optimize financial outcomes. Conducting thorough backssments of project variations, claims, and change orders. Providing regular and accurate reports on project financial performance, cost trends, and forecasts. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. Mentoring and guiding junior quantity surveyors to support their professional growth. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on highways and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of cost management principles, procurement processes, and contract administration. Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Professional membership or certification (e. g. RICS) is advantageous.
