We are seeking one full-time nanny/child caregiver to help take care of our three children (ages 6 months to 7 years). Please see more information about the position below: Work in the employer’s own home. Public transportation is available, employee must be willing to travel. There is optional accommodation available at the employer’s home, no charge on a live-in basis - Please Note: live-in is NOT a condition of employment. Location Mississauga, ON Salary: $17-$18 hourly / 35-44 hours per Week Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent employment Day, Morning, Flexible Start date: Starts as soon as possible.1 vacancy Languages: English Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school Work Experience: Minimum 4 year of work experience in a childcare position caring for multiple children. References required. Work site environment: Non-smoking Work setting: Employer’s home Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment Children’s Ages: 3 months, 4 years old, and 7 years old. Security and Safety: Police clearance certificate with vulnerable sector check Duties: • Bathe, dress and feed baby and children• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children• Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for baby• Prepare and serve nutritious meals• Prepare baby and children for rest periods• Take children to and from school and to appointments• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties• Shop for food and household supplies• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children• Supervise and care for children• Tend to emotional well-being.
