Dates: 23 August - 10 November 2023 Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm Location: Mayfair, Central London Salary: Unpaid. Bonuses of luxury trips after successful completion of internship. This internship is unpaid but with all expenses paid trip to Europe as a bonus upon successful completion. We are looking for an enthusiastic, glamorous and organised Event Manager Intern to join our team at a luxury Gala Dinner for boutique hoteliers and individuals in the luxury travel sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of the event, ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and to the highest standards. This role will include a high level of responsibility unusual for an intern, and we want someone hungry for the best possible learning experience in event planning. Responsibilities: - Support to Event Director: Logistics, ordering, timings, production. This includes having a great sense of design and aesthetics, helping with choosing lighting, flowers, choreography of awards presentations. The more you are capable of, the more responsibility you will be given. - Coordinate with the venue staff, welcome staff and presenters to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for the welcome and speeches. - Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote the event. - Monitor the event on the night and respond to issues as they arise to ensure that all activities are running smoothly and to the highest standards. - Reach out to luxury travel press, meet/call them so they accept press invitations to the event and write articles. Requirements: - We need someone who fits the luxury scene and would be comfortable speaking face-to-face with luxury hotel owners and luxury travel brands - Excellent English and communication skills - Excellent organisational skills and positive can-do attitude - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight.
