Incident and Service Manager. Contract Incident and Service Manager is required to play a pivotal role in contributing to the delivery of a high: quality management process within an IT engineering/development department. The primary goal is to enhance the service quality for the end users and customers. Title: Incident and Service Manager. Duration: Contract Duration: 6 months. Start Date: ASAP. Rate: GBP400 per day (In Scope of IR35). Location: London office (2 days a week, remote working for the remainder). Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the Incident management process and governance framework. Manage the resolution of escalated P1 incidents with internal and external teams. Communicate incident status, resolution, and business impact to stakeholders. Generate reports within Service Now to provide trending of major incidents. Utilize ITIL V3/4 framework/best practices. Manage the Teams channel focusing on housekeeping of folders and documentation. Provide daily incident report status. Lead vendor management and engagement. Other Key Data: Role reports to: Head of Software Engineering/Development. The client is using large enterprise platform vendors (e. g. Microsoft) they have Cloud: based solutions and need to provide bespoke service support. There are approximately 1000 incidents per annum to manage/coordinate. Skills required. Proven experience as an Incident and Service Manager in a similar role. Previous experience in SIAM model. In: depth understanding of Service Management Framework principles. Ability to consolidate key performance indicators (KPIs) into product or service measures. Strategic thinking with a focus on outcomes. Business analysis (IT operations). Ownership and initiative. Relationship Management. Service Focus. Previous experience in a large enterprise setting.
