The Role: As the Plater Fabricator you will be tasked with: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate heavy structural steel components. Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and effectively. Measure, cut, shape, and weld steel components according to project requirements. Ensure accurate alignment and fit-up of fabricated components. Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve any fabrication-related issues. The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Plater Fabricator role will have a solid background in working with heavy structural steel, demonstrating exceptional fabrication skills and attention to detail. The role offers the opportunity for temporary to permanent employment, with the possibility of immediate permanent placement for candidates possessing the required expertise.
