If so, then read on I am looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work in the Peterborough area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment. Role: Quantity Surveyor Location: Peterborough Contract: Permanent Rate: GBP35,000: GBP45,000 per year plus package When: ASAP Randstad Contact: Georgia Joslyn () Duties will include: Looking after NEC:3 contract types Draft an NEC:3 contract with suppliers Work out all the costs behind the project and produce the best revenue Procurement : Getting in all the materials: liaising with the procurement team to ensure all materials are supplied and on time Looking after all the spreadsheets: to ensure the most cost effective approach Still have an awareness of the mechanical and electrical aspect Delivers presentations showing cost margins and the effect this has on the project Need to liaise with sub: contractors on a regular basis Skills Required: Having a strong background of working within the water industry Quantity Surveying course at UNI that is RICS accredited Must have wastewater experience Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility Skills Desirable: Ambitious and dynamic personality Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries Someone with a commitment to Right first time Ideally have 5 years water experience If this sounds like the perfect role for you please get in touch, we would love to hear from you Alternatively, if you are looking for other roles within the wastewater and water treatment industry, please get in touch and we would love to assist in finding your dream role Randstad CPE.
