Closing Date: September 5, 2023 Reporting to the Superintendent, Operational Excellence and Controller, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for supervising and guiding the payroll clerks in support of providing financial accounting and administrative support to the finance team. To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who works with a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Sophisticated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities, strong attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are key to success. This role also requires the ability to adapt quickly to meet changing priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the Elkview Operation by cultivating collaboration with key members in the senior leadership team, along with the business unit financial planning, treasury, corporate accounting, and operations. Responsibilities: • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures • Analyze and prepare payroll data for trend analysis including overtime and absenteeism • Liaise between mine site, departments, and technology teams to accurately gather, analyze, document, and deliver business requirements including functional and non-functional requirements • Identify, document and collaborate with external stakeholders on the technical requirements to build and test the integrations • Develop functional data reporting for payroll and accounting purposes • Identify and provide solutions for risks and.
