Don't miss this opportunity to join a growing firm in this exiting REMOTE role. We are looking for an experienced tax professional to provide tax compliance and advisory services to Canadian private corporations, individuals, partnerships, trusts and not-for-profit organizations. In this role you will be responsible for: Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping provide tax minimization strategies and planning opportunities Taking direct lead and control of special tax engagements, ensuring they are properly planned, staffed and executed Managing client accounts including billing, fee analysis and new service development Reviewing the work of junior staff, assist in their career development through constructive feedback and guidance Being a firm leader in delivering high quality tax service and advice QUALIFICATIONS Five plus years of current and/or recent income tax compliance in a senior role within a Canadian CPA firm Ability to effectively manage tax risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and project budgets Completion of the CPA In-depth taxation course; completion of, or interest in enrolling in, Corporate Reorganizations course and/or Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner Manager Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues to our clients A proven track record of leading teams and garnering the respect of colleagues Ability to anticipate the long term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving A can-do attitude and commitment to excellence We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team.
