Wine Cellar Assistant and Controller Salary up to £35,000We are currently looking for a Wine Cellar Assistant and Controller to work in this prestigious city-based company. As a Wine Cellar Assistant and Controller, you will be managing the wine stock and working predominately during the daytime, Monday to Friday - there is no weekend work required The company has a strong management team that firmly believes in looking after their staff and being as fun and rewarding as possible. Things to know: Private bank Daytime working hours, Monday to Friday, i. e.7:30 am – 4:30 pm Paid overtime for any evening functions What you will be doing as a Wine Cellar Assistant and Controller: Recording all internal wine issue forms and deliveries Distributing a weekly up-to-date on wine stock Distributing all events wine Liaising with the events team and bankers for wine orders and invoicing Liaising with the wine committee all requests for wine selection for dinners both internally and externally Dealing with admin concerning wine stock Taking wine deliveries, which involves lots of manual handling Assisting in managing several million pounds of wine reserves Keep track and valuation of the cellar for insurance purposes You will be a great fit if you have Experience in a wine cellar, bar, or stock room role. Wine stock/cellar experience preferred Good admin experience Great communicational and organisational skills A positive attitude LEGAL REQUIREMENTSIn line with present UK working requirements, all candidates are required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
