Finance Assistant (AAT) Location: Kensington, London Salary: GBP 25k : GBP 30k + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Our client is a prominent Schools Trust, dedicated to delivering high: quality education, seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join their Administrative Team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the Trusts financial activities and timely recording of financial data in alignment with the Trusts policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Assisting CFO in annual budget setup and creating income/expenditure estimates. Managing School journey accounts, including costs, approvals, income, and expenses. Managing computerised and manual accounts systems, including orders, invoices, commitments. Recording costs, statistical data, and handling Gift Aid procedures. Supporting end: of: year procedures per Trust and ESFA standards. Providing management information to CFO, Board, and Budget Holders. Assisting with School meals, student bursaries, and parent payments. Updating Equipment Registers, conducting stock checks. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Junior Accountant or similar role You will have AAT qualification Level 2 or above. GCSE Level education (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 GCSEs A: C, including English and Maths.
