Key Responsibilities This role requires providing excellent customer service to both customers and their employees by answering payroll-related queries and correspondence through telephone and email. Effective communication skills are essential to gather payroll information, reconcile payroll end-to-end, and process BACS payments. The candidate must ensure that employees receive payments on schedule by managing their time effectively and working to tight deadlines in accordance with SLAs. Additionally, the candidate must have great attention to detail and be able to identify any payment or data errors. Year-end tasks need to be processed, and Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, should be used to provide payroll validation and exception management. Finally, the candidate must be able to manipulate and validate incoming data. Key Skills Strong attention to detail Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for working with data Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Excel, at a basic/intermediate level Exceptional accuracy Highly organized Excellent communication.
