This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to help shape our financial operations and contribute to our ongoing success. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with external CPA and Auditors to ensure the seamless preparation and auditing of our financial statements and ensure alignment with internal financial operations. • Direct and backss the functions of our accounting, audit, and other financial units, ensuring their smooth coordination and alignment with the hotel's expansion goals. • Craft, initiate, and refine financial policies, systems, and procedures tailored to support our growth into the U. S. hotel market and continuous growth in Canadian hotel market. • Spearhead and synchronize the formulation of detailed financial statements, executive summaries, cost-benefit analyses, and other pivotal financial management reports. Ensure these are aligned with Canadian and U. S market needs and regulations. • Lead financial planning and budgetary processes, making necessary adjustments to forecasts in response to market dynamics and business requirements. • Scrutinize the current financial reporting mechanisms, accounting procedures, and investment strategies, proposing modifications to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. • Attract, structure, nurture, and oversee the accounting staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for our continuous growth. • Proactively inform and consult with senior management on any financial trends or insights that could significantly impact the organization's fiscal health, especially as we navigate the complexities of the U. S. hotel industry. Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce, or a related field is required. • 3 or more years of managerial experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial.
