My client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer– Mechanical and are easily commutable from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Winchester, Andover and Southampton. The Ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and can expect to work alongside design engineers to offer opinions on design and new product introduction. The role will consist of working across the manufacturing department, helping with ways to continually improve the process in the most effective and efficient way. This Manufacturing Engineer– Mechanical will have a blend of the following skills: - Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products, and conduct review of engineering drawings prior to release. - Establish Manufacturing process flow and work instruction. Create and update manufacturing standard procedure, which defines specific manufacturing processes. - Ability and experience to suggest ways to continually improve the manufacturing process. - Coordinate the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications/requirements and perform as technical liaison with other engineering personnel, such as program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
