Job Title Finance Manager Location Redditch & some travel to other premises within 15mile radius Permanent Role Salary £45,000 Benefits Pension Hybrid working, 2 days working at premises We are excited to be working with a family run business who are in Redditch, they are seeking a Finance Manager to be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very well-established supplier. We are keen to speak with candidates who are recently qualified for CIMA or ACCA. We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate experience for the last 5 years. Our client not only offers a competitive salary they also offer the opportunity to work from home 3 days a week. The purpose of the role is to provide overall responsibility for full bookkeeping of the business. This is a hands-on role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and its cash flow. This is an exciting time to join the business, you will also have a key influence for positively driving improvements operationally forwards. Duties to include Produce monthly management accounts. Produce a full monthly consolidation including group subsidiaries. Responsible for finance day to day operations and reporting to the CFO. Take the lead role in the month end process. Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping for tax compliance. Own, develop and maintain appropriate accounting controls to mitigate all aspects of financial risk and corruption. Manage the foreign exchange risk, suggest and implement mitigation measures accordingly. Ensure accurate and timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany account reconciliations. Motivate and lead finance team members including both sales and purchase ledger functions. Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
