Conference and Events Sales Executive Location: Birmingham Salary: Up to £27,000COREcruitment is working with a luxury hotel in Birmingham to who are looking for a Conference & Events Executive to join their sales team The sales office is a fast-paced, supportive environment, with people who are passionate about delivering great service and achieving their potential. About you The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills. In addition, you will be: Methodical - accurate & ability to work on own initiative, with outstanding attention to detail. Computer literate, with experience of hotel PMS. i. e. Delphi & Opera. Sales focused and enthusiastic, with excellent customer service skills. Flexible and capable of working well within a team. Key Responsibilities: Being the point of contact with the customer for all pre planning details Creating event function sheets to ensure clients requirements are accurately documented and distributed to the wider resort General call handling to discuss event details including using questioning techniques and handling objections Conducting face to face site visits/menu tastings and final detail calls Booking and attending client pre & post event meetings Assist in taking enquiries and covering the phones during busy period If you are keen to discuss the details further, please send me your CV to sophie@COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
