Accounts Administrator GBP23,500: GBP24,500 per annum DOE Monday: Friday, 8:30am:5:00pm 40 hours per week Permanent Our Client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, is searching for an Accounts Administrator to join their thriving team. The successful candidate will be confident, have a great work ethic and be accustomed to working in a busy office environment. Previous experience within an accounts based position is essential, as is a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location of the role. Main duties and responsibilities, (including but not limited to): Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third: party vendors Process bank deposits Reconcile financial statements Prepare, send, and store invoices Credit control : contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments Identify and address discrepancies Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets Dealing with customers requests for PODs Liaising with other departments and depots Providing support for purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control Reconciling HMRC records for imports Maintaining monthly records for rebates Preparing accruals on a monthly basis for external accountant Payroll records : keeping to deadlines Assisting with month end procedures Key skills and attributes: Good organisational skills Good/confident telephone manner Computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel Good communications skills, both oral and written Confident and polite Ability to multi: task and prioritise workload Accuracy GSCE in Maths and English C or above (or equivalent) Benefits: Workplace pension Free onsite parking Life Assurance Health Cash Plan Cycle to Work Employee Assistance Programme Menopause support x2026; And others If you are interested in this role then please apply with a current CV or for more information please Apply.
