Wage: $30.25 - $34.00 /hour (based on skills and experience/salary increases as per company’s policy)Benefits: Disability benefits, Medical benefits, Dental benefits, Life insurance benefits, Vision care benefits, and other benefits Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, full-time, 30 to 60 hours per week (weather dependent), Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Night Vacancies: 25Anticipated start date: Spring 2023 (Actual start date is weather-dependent)Job requirements: Language: English Education: No education is required Experience: 3 years of related experience Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods Work Site Environment: Outdoors Types of materials used: Colours and sealers Personal Suitability: Accurate, Team player Work setting: Roads and bridges, Sidewalks and curbs Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Duties: • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures• Must participate and adhere to all safety rules and procedures How to apply: By email: mail: 117 High Plains Place Rocky View County, AB T4A 0W7 Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Indigenous people, and Newcomers.
