Job Title: Payroll Administrator Salary: £23k - £28k (DOE)Location: Blackpool (fully office based) I am currently recruiting for an experienced or keen to learn Payroll Administrator for a construction company in Blackpool. This individual would oversee all payroll duties whilst also supporting the HR Team. Responsibilities: Weekly Payroll Running weekly Payroll (Sage) Processing new starters and leavers Running weekly reports Processing absences Processing deductions/attachments backssing, updating and submitting weekly pension data To be able to process and have knowledge of FPS's, RTI's, SSP, SPP, SMP Ensuring high attention to detail so staff are paid correctly Reporting to the finance manager Liaising with multiple departments to ensure the smooth process of the weekly payroll run Producing a weekly BACs file for the finance team Other Payroll Duties Weekly processing and gaining approval of a high volume of timesheets Tracking fines, deductions and attachment of earnings Updating attachment data through local district portals Checking/confirming accrued holidays Processing weekly payroll recharges Liaising with various staff and dealing with any queries Effective job costings reports Managing the Pension scheme, enrolling, opting out and making weekly payments Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word, Outlook HR Admin Assisting the HR team, monitoring the inbox Updating various absences through the tracker, holidays, sickness, maternity/paternity Obtaining request approvals from line management Keeping track of any sick notes and saving requests to personnel files Ensuring personnel files are up to date with current documents Update personal information where required Monthly KPI figures keeping track of sickness Ensuring check ups with the HR team of up-to-date absences=Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role Sage 50 & Sage Payroll knowledge is beneficial The ability to be able to process variable hours contracts Keen to learn and pick up.
