We are looking for an organised and methodical Purchasing Planner / Assistant to join the team to support our Senior Buyer. BASIC SALARY: A GBP 22,000 : A GBP 24,000 BENEFITS: A 21 days holiday (rising one day per year)A Pension A Company Bonus A Share Incentive Scheme A Life Assurance A Free Lunch LOCATION: Hook, Hampshire COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Basingstoke, Reading, Fareham, Guildford, Newbury, Camberley JOB DESCRIPTION: Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Planner, Supply Chain Assistant : Geotechnical Machinery, Capital Equipment The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Buyer with day to day procurement activities to ensure on: time and in full delivery of parts in line with the production schedule. In addition to this you will: A Raise Purchase Orders and manage call: offs A Expedite existing orders to ensure on time delivery A Maintain our ERP System with regards to supplier lead times A Manage bulk stock and workshop orders A Collate key supplier information for vendor management A Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team PERSON SPECIFICATION: Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Planner, Supply Chain Assistant : Geotechnical Machinery, Capital Equipment We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can come in and integrate with our growing team. We also need you to have: A Good keyboard skills and the ability to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office A High levels of attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of accuracy A An understanding of procurement principles A Excellent interpersonal and team working skills THE COMPANY: We have been at the forefront of designing computer: controlled systems to evaluate the mechanical properties of soil and rock for over 40 years and are highly regarded.
