Our client is a leading Social Housing Contractor in the North East, who are going from strength to strength in 2023. Looking to add to their Procurement team by bringing a Buyer on board, to get on board during an exciting time with new opportunities coming through in the very near future. The primary roles and responibilities of the role would include: Sourcing materials and services required for projects. Negotiating the best deals without compromising on quality. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries. Collaborating with the in: house team to ensure project needs are met efficiently. Continuously analysing market trends to ensure we remain competitive. The ideal candidate for this role would have the following experiences: Experience in procurement, preferably within the housing or construction industry. Stellar negotiation skills. An analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong network within the North: East supplier community would be a plus.
