Job Description Strategic Buyer Full Time Derby/Hybrid or Birmingham/Hybrid or Bristol/Hybrid (our standard hybrid arrangement is 3 days/week on-site but 2 days or sometimes 1 day can also be considered)Why Rolls-Royce? In this role, you will contribute to creating the procurement strategy and selecting the supplier, negotiate the best deal, agree the contract, and then manage the contract ensuring that we have a high performing supply chain. The performance of our external supply chain is critical to all of our business metrics and the Rolls-Royce Procurement team are central to Rolls-Royce success. You will be part of the Strategic Procurement team, buying parts that go into our Civil Aerospace engines. The team works across our Categories in Services and Operations. In Operations, we have four category teams: Raw Material and Forming, Design Make, Complex Machining and Finished Components. In Services, we have teams who cover the Procurement for all of our aftermarket business including Engine overhauls, parts repair and services to support our engines flying.
