Our Client within the Public Sector is currently recruiting for a Senior Programme Delivery Manager to join their Energy Unit as soon as possible. This is a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis for approx 6 months and the ideal candidate will have experience working within the public sector and have a strong record of project and programme development and management. Our Client within the Public Sector is currently recruiting for a Senior Programme Delivery Manager to join their Energy Unit as soon as possible. This is a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis for approx 6 months and the ideal candidate will have experience working within the public sector and have a strong record of project and programme development and management. The post holder will lead on the development and delivery of major environment projects, or a portfolio of projects where the project includes significant environmental components, in order to achieve desired outputs within agree time frames, within budget, to specification and operational standards. Responsibilities The post holder will have a strong record of project and programme development and management and will be required to work across a portfolio of programmes built around the five key objectives of the Net Zero Energy Unit, that encompasses the 9 priorities. Each of the 9 priorities is rated as either Gold, Silver or a key spending/commercial programme for delivery or commencing delivery in the 2023-24 business year and in agreement between the Assistant Director Environment and Energy Unit, Executive Director Good Growth and the Mayor’s Office. The portfolio of programmes include: Corporate Portfolio Management Office Digitisation Innovation and Commercial Relationships Programme Energy Enablers and Accelerators Programme Decentralised Energy and Local Area Energy Programme Retrofit for London Programme The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering.
