Location Musselwhite About the role Reporting to the Mine Coordinators, the Underground Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an underground crew while meeting daily targets. Key Responsibilities Include Provide effective, front-line supervision of day-to-day activities for a designated crew. Inspire, motivate and provide feedback to crew members to ensure safe and strong performance. Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, legal requirements, as well as adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures. Ensure that employees and contractors adhere to all safety standards and site procedures. Chair safety and morning line-up meetings. Plan daily mining activities including coordination of ore/waste haulage, stope management Liaise and collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance departments to achieve daily production targets. You Training, Skills and Experience Check list Minimum Grade 12 education, college/trades diploma or university degree preferred. Completion of the Ontario Supervisor’s Common Core Program (#P770121). Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a large underground mine with demonstrated leadership competencies.
