We are looking for a Head of Sustainability built environment for a permanent position in Manchester. The salary is negotiable, depending on experience. Benefits include a good, supportive working environment, competitive salary with real progression opportunities, pension, private health care, health care cash plan and flexible working arrangements 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Working as the successful Head of Sustainability, you will lead and develop a successful and growing part of the business. You will be responsible for the delivery and development of sustainability services, working alongside building physics and MEP designers to provide integrated and coordinated solutions which meet the needs of clients. Essential skills are: Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Report writing. Ability to lead projects and represent the business positively within design teams. Desirable skills: Experience within Sustainability consulting, in the built environment sector. Client liaison and relationship management throughout various stages of a project. An understanding of financial and resource management. Knowledge of dynamic simulation software, mechanical design, Sustainability rating systems, planning issues, operational energy calculation and life cycle backssments. Procurement and management of specialist external sub consultants. Assist with the development of new services and client marketing. Your experience in any of the below sectors would.
